Sleep baby, sleep

The car seat seems to be the answer to our sleep issues. Last night, Caroline slept all night in the car seat in our bedroom. We put her in it at 10:30. She woke up at 3:30 a little bit fussy but not crying, so I jiggled the seat and turned the Sleep Sheep (aka "lambie") and she went back to sleep until 5:30. Hallelulah!! That's seven hours between feedings and the most sleep we've gotten in 6 weeks. I am impressed with her going 7 hours at this point.
Today, she also took 2 long naps in the car seat again. So, I definitely think we've stumbled onto something very good. I'm really hoping it lasts.
I got on the scale with Caroline. She's up to 12 lbs. Hard to believe! She's getting the cutest little chubby cheeks! She outgrew the newborn diapers last week and she is beginning to be too big for some of the newborn clothes.
Chris and I are having so much fun watching her change and grow!
